2ooml milk (I used oat)
1/3 cup of oats
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp cocoa powder
A handful of cherries or any other dark berries (frozen or fresh)

1 tsp maple syrup


If using frozen cherries or berries, place into a small bowl to defrost for about an hour, or before making the porridge.

Add the milk, oats, chia seeds and cocoa powder to a small saucepan, and stir to combine.

Heat over a medium heat, constantly stirring until the porridge thickens (for about 5 minutes).

Top your porridge with your cherries and maple syrup.
