Yasmin Muswell BSc (hons), DipION, BANT, CNHC
Registered Nutritional Therapist (mBANT, CNHC)
As a child growing up, food was always a massive part of life for myself and my family. From a very young age I was able to appreciate how food can impact the body, through seeing my auntie suffer with ongoing health conditions such as coeliac disease, anaphylatic allergic reactions, and severe joint pains, just to name a few.
As I got older, the subject I seemed to love the most was biology and I am still fascinated with what are bodies can do as I learn more everyday. I soon appreciated the profound impact that diet and lifestyle could have on our health and our bodies, so I completed a 4 year BSc degree in Nutrition and Health.
My career within the health industry began with working with NHS settings and delivering Public Health Promotion Services, which I loved and learnt a lot from. But I came to realise that the need for personalised nutrition was of paramount importance, and this led to completing a 3 year Nutritional Therapy Diploma at The Institute for Optimum Nutrition.
My mission is to educate, empower and guide you towards optimum health through nutrition and lifestyle medicine.
I am a BANT registered Nutritional Therapist, with a BSc in Exercise, Nutrition and Health.
With a family history of autoimmune conditions, my main areas of interest are the immune system, digestive health and supporting women through the gestational journey.
Whilst working together I will apply my knowledge and experience to you as a biochemically unique individual to create plans that work around you, your lifestyle and your goals, to put you back in control of your health and wellbeing.
Education is at the heart of my practice, as for me, ensuring you understand what may be contributing to your imbalances and health concerns is as important as helping you work towards an enhanced state of health.
